Sometimes called Shadowhounds, or, misleadingly, Hellhounds, Fyrehounds are doggish creatures genetically modified from canis lupis and imbued with fire and shadow magic. While sometimes affectionately called "demons," they are in fact neither demonic nor infernal. Co-created by siblings Yndigo and Michel, the secret of their formation is closely guarded.
The first fyrehound was named Fang.
