Gods in ANWO
Though there are many gods in the world of ANWO, the three listed just below are the ones dominantly worshiped.
Justicairne
Overview
Justicairne, also known as “The Infallible” and “The Strong Hammer”. He is the brother of Gnuvain and the deity aspect of Order. He was begotten when Gilver killed the god aspect of Benevolence. He took advantage of the shock, and led the other gods to his order. He ruled the others, making sure that they follow his protocols, and punishes those who don't.
He once tried to create the perfect weapon to due his bidding. It's power was so sheer, that even the mention of it coming saps the will of the victims. His work failed though, by Gilver's addition of a chaos butterfly into his incomplete weapon. The butterfly gave it immense power, rivaling and even surpassing of a god's due to Justicairne's craft and the buttefly's innate power. Also, it gave it its own consciousness.
Punishing a god
Justicairne banned and exiled the goddess aspect of Love for fraternizing with an enemy of his, whom is Esrever. The goddess accepted it, wanting to not cause a fight but oh she was so wrong.
Thalatos
Overview
Also known as “The Scale” and “The Glass Chalice.”
Thalatos is believed by his followers to appear insectoid, with four main legs and two arms sprouting from his back, with a gray-green exoskeleton. Thalatos is the youngest of the gods, only existing the same time as man did.
He was given the task of governing the Runar Plane, the plane which holds all magic. Due to his neutrality, he did not care for what purpose the many waves and sparks of the Runar Plane, but he was curious on what was the effect. There was only ever a few times he intervened directly, and it was only for matters of dire balance. But even in his reverence, some still doubt if his ways and duty as the keeper of balance is noble.
The Balances
Thalatos' lair contains countless balance, to which all tip to a side to what aspect is currently being overpowering. Though countless, there are two true balances. The Axiom of Good and Evil, and the Axiom of Chaos and Order.
Gnuvain
Overview
Gnuvain, also known as “The One-Eyed Lord”, is one of three major gods in the world of ANWO, and is affiliated with Chaos.
He is an aloof, solemn being, unmindful of events happening in the world that came from him. He watches over though. He rarely intervenes in deity affairs, and if he is does, it is usually because of his daughter, the goddess aspect of Love.
Contrary to beliefs, he did not make the Hex plane. He was given governance over it, surprisingly by Justicairne. Opposites though they were, the Strong Hammer had trust that he could never give to the other gods in Gnuvain. He ruled over it for aeons, letting demons find a place to rest and call home, separating some from the human world. He was overthrown though, but not forcibly. He stepped down when Esrever defeated him in a duel of prowess. It was sure that Justicairne was enraged when he did this.
Chaos Butterflies
Being only known to flutter around the One-Eye Lord, the chaos butterflies hold immense power barely tapped by all beings except their owner. There were only two records of actual usage of them. The first was Justicairne's attempt to create the most powerful weapon ever known and the second was Deftinfox's attempt to best Justicairne's work.
