A modified T-86 Starlancer, stolen from the Derilict system. Owned by Eyrina Haford, she piloted it against a battlecruiser in the Battle of Legacy.
Eyrina calls it Enmity, however, this is a personal name, and not its true designation. Over the years, the Starlancer has been extensively customized. Two of its LAMFM thrusters were replaced with Nuclear Impulse thrusters, its plasma cannons were exchanged for extra missiles, and two large pulse rifles, customized to fire blue projectiles, were added in the crooks between the body and wings. Its underbelly was expanded to hold a larger generator, a DEF Emitter, and a small salvage bay. The craft's armor has been reinforced with a stronger Ametium alloy, and the entire hull plated with solar panels to improve energy efficiency.
Ship Design
Enmity is mostly designed like a standard T-86 Starlancer. However, there have been a few upgrades and changes.
Power System
The ship runs on a single Mark-II Generator and Power Cell. The hull is coated in solar panels to extend the life of the cell, or even recharge it when the other systems are shut down.
Propulsion
Like the standard Starlancer, it has four thrusters. However, two of the LAMFM thrusters were replaced with Nuclear Impulse thrusters, allowing it to operate in deep space.
Weapons and Defensive Systems
The weapon systems of the Enmity were upgraded. The plasma cannons normally carried by the Starlancer were replaced with two more Fury missiles, and a pair of regenerating pulse rifles were added to the body of the craft. Defensively, the ship received a minor AMT improvement, and had a DEF Emitter installed to protect it from hostile fire.
Artificial Intelligence
Notably, Enmity has an AIS system installed and activated, and apparently has for quite some time. The AIS has imprinted on Eyrina, tailoring a personality to complement hers. Eyrina apparently considers the ship to be more than a vehicle; she frequently talks to it and tends to protect it like it were a close friend. It also is protective of Eyrina, working on its own prerogative to do whatever's necessary to keep Eyrina safe.
History
Enmity was originally an ordinary T-86 Starlancer that never saw service in the Derilict military. How Eyrina Haford came to be in possession of the vehicle is unknown, but at 18, she used it to escape the Derilict system, accidentally activating its AIS system in the process.
However, the ship didn't receive its name until after the events of the Battle of Legacy, in which it and Eyrina took down a battlecruiser. Enmity went on to perform further mercenary work, getting upgraded to its current state in the process.
In recent years, though, Eyrina has used the Enmity less, as the ship got phased out for the larger Phalanx. This was recently rectified by Eyrina's installation of a hangar bay on the Phalanx, allowing her to use both ships simultaneously.
