Geography
Calimsen is located on the continent of Hyalt, at the mouth of the River Hyalt.
Trade
Calimsen is a genetic research facility. Thus, there is very little physical trade.
Genetics
When Derilict was first settled, there was an abundance of alien plant, protist, and bacteria life. While this is a fairly common occurrence, colonists soon discovered that there were also many small animals as well. This encounter sparked the genetics community to flock to this location and start researching.
Military
Calimsen is of small strategic importance. Thus, only one company of Derilict Army troops is stationed there.
