Amethine is the capital planet of the Coruscate System. Currently the main base of the Inner Coruscate Sarissia, one of two governments locked in a civil war. Like all planets in the Coruscate system, Amethine is uninhabitable, and is colonized solely through the use of biodomes and enclosed cities.
Amethine is known for its extremely high temperature and major Ametium deposits. However, many other valuable minerals are beneath the surface.

The planet is composed of barren deserts and rocky soil, with little variation. Of note, though, is the mineral make-up of its sand, which turn it a gentle white.
