Discovered by a military exploratory fleet of the Human Confederation. The planet was deemed worthless, except as a research station for biologists and the like, but one of its moons, Coriolis, was given greater value, due to its minerals, spice, and metals. Historians agree that if Coriolis did not exist, the colonization in 56 SE would not have happened.

The Derilict Republic was formed and the rebellion against the Human Confederation began, sparking the only war in Derilict history. It lasted for a year and historians agree that other rebellions around the Confederation are the only reason Derilict won.
