Royal Family
- Queen Telarin d'Jor: Queen of Vyanat. Full title is Lady Telarin d'Jor, Protector of the Realm, Defender of the Land, Supreme Servant to Mosla, Queen of the Holy Realm of Vyanat.
- Samyl d'Vyan (Deceased): The murdered brother of Queen Telarin, for which Tehara d'Vyan was framed.
Military Personnel
- Captain Rysil: A captain in the Vyanat army.
Vyirint
- King of Vyirint (Deceased): Former unnamed King of Vyirint.
Zanara
Upper Class
- Onyx Hail: King of Zanara. Mostly keeping to himself, he occasionally meets with other people of importance besides the occasional speech to the public.
- Obsidian Rain: Amethyst's abusive father, and leading man behind weapons design in Zanara.
Military Personnel
- General Cloud: An upper-class general in the Zanian armed forces.
- Jade Cloud: An upper-class soldier in the Zanian armed forces.
- Jasyl Odelson: A lower-class soldier in the Zanian armed forces.
Ionar
- Lord Carmaile: Ionite Lord of Tuarm. Regarded as radial and non-traditional.
- Lord Avery: Ionite Lord of Targus. Went missing before the city was bombed by Zanara forces.
- Adjuvant Alem Iucif: One of Lord Avery's Adjuvants.
- Lord Brom (Deceased): Former Lord of Artus. Was supportive and Lord Carmaile. Rumored to have been assassinated.
- Lord Targus (Deceased): Founding Lord of the city Targus. Renowned for eccentricities and odd habits.

- Sergeant Bremen: A sergeant in Ionar's 45th Armored Infantry Battalion, described as a bearded bear of a man. Currently leading a fireteam assigned as Adjuvant Oaeren Revlas's bodyguards.
- Corporal Anderson: A younger male corporal in Sergeant Bremen's fireteam.
- Corporal Kizon: An aging female corporal in Sergeant Bremen's fireteam.
- Private Derm: A new addition to Sergeant Bremen's fireteam.
