The Moderators help control day-to-day activities by monitoring posts and topics made in the forum which they govern. While lacking the powers of Admins, and having no real powers outside of the forums they control, inside, they can modify, lock, move, and otherwise manage topics within their forums for whatever purpose they deem requires it.
They also have access to the Mod Board, and to The Dump. Aside from this, however, they have no other unique abilities.
Global Moderators
In the early days of Calamity Refuge, there were also global moderators. Unlike regular moderators, these moderators could manage topics throughout the entire forum, under the Administration only in their inability to change the forums themselves. Eventually, w-dueck deemed the position unnecessary, and promoted Vergil and Jewels (the global moderators at the time) to Administrators.
