Birchwood Brothers
The Birchwood brothers are not all biological brothers but they consider each other family. Borris, Chink, and Demil often spend their time saving people from poor circumstances along with their unofficial leader Alex. They were brought together through a series of unfortunate events that let to all of them becoming orphans. They consider The Wisdom to be a false god and poor excuse for a leader of Kavaccet. Whenever they encounter an abusive man with his promised Bloom, they step in to free the woman from her promised fate. They are well known in Brittner village where they live though the opinions of the townspeople are split as to whether they are heros or troublemakers.

Origin
Born and raised in Kavaccet.
Mentality
Normally pretty level headed. He's the type of guy who likes to go with the flow. His past has not been the most pleasant, though, and has weighed him down with the memories.
Relationship with Others
- Alex - They are brothers. The type that would be more likely to shake hands than to hug, but they do not fight because Borris lets Alex be in charge most of the time.
- Chink - Chink is Borris's best friend in life. He is an anchor of hope when the memories of his past creep in.
- Demil - They are friends.
- Nivia - He considers her as a mother and does his best to be like a good son. Coming home with stab wounds is something he tries not to do often.

A stocky, bald swordsman with wide shoulders and tarnished chainmail.

Born and raised in Kavaccet.
Mentality
A bit of a bi-polar one. He can be a teddybear in one moment and a wild rampaging grizzly the next. If he likes you, he'd tear the world apart for you. If he doesn't like you... he'd just as soon tear you apart. Trouble from his past has caused him to lose his temper easily.
Relationship with Others
- Alex - They are friends.
- Borris - They are best friends, closer than brothers. Born on the same day in the same hospital, it's how their mothers met. Chink is very protective of Borris especially after all Borris has already lost.
- Demil - They are friends.
- Nivia - Chink tolerates the old woman like one would tolerate an in-law, but she's always yelling at him to wipe his feet and to stop dripping rainwater on the floor. She's kind of annoying, though she does have her uses.

Mentality
Demil is jumpy. He doesn't like to sit still and it's almost like he can't. He's always moving or travelling or doing something. He avoids the bad memories of his past by keeping his present busy with new input.

- Nivia - Demil doesn't trust Nivia and never has. His parents used to tell him scary stories about her to keep him from wandering to her house.
