The Elahána Forest, or just Elahána, is a moderately-sized Elven kingdom located to the east of The Republic of Ustendelle. The royal family has four branches, known as houses, of Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. Historically, the House Ascendant rotated around the entire family, but for the past several centuries the houses of Fire and Water have shared power to the detriment of Air and Earth. The latter branches have fallen into relative destitution.
The elves within Elahána enjoy many freedoms, only noticing the House Ascendant when resources are required to be shifted.
