Although its name may cause the reader to believe that the Topic Dump of [[Calamity Refuge]] is similar to a landfill, it is actually a board in itself, where posts that do not meet the standards of the [[Calamity Refuge|Refuge]] are carefully archived by the [[Administration of the Refuge|admins]]. Because the dump is located in the first basement of the [[Admin Tower]], Only [[Moderators of Calamity Refuge|Moderators]] and [[Administration of the Refuge|Administrators]] have access to it. Regular members are not allowed to browse through the dump, but there is a chute for them to insert posts that they believe should be archived there.

These posts, which typically form a neat pile at the bottom of the chute, are then taken by the Admin and either accepted as dump material, or placed back where they came from, this the admins can do by the casting of a simple spell.

Some consider the Dump sacred, due to it effectively being the burial ground of [[topics|posts]] not suitable for the CRF. [[Vergil|Vergil's]] [[Exotic Items in FTaWSotR#Prelude to Ultimatum|Ultimatum]] is rumoured to be hidden somewhere in the Dump. Although it is hard to get solid information about the admins or moderators about the existence of an Ultimatum there, it is widely believed that if it is there, Vergil has hidden it by magical means.
