Raw minerals are imported from Derilict V and refined into a suitable trade material.<br /> == Culture ==<br /> While some would think that a city with such a trade would be rough and vulgar, Saralin has grown to become one of the galaxy&#039;s most envied cultural centers. Its art, music, and writing are direct and to-the-point, but still strangely mysterious.<br /> == Geography ==<br /> Saralin rests on top of the Alpaen archipelago, the city is divided into several parts.<br /> *Residential: This portion of the city is mainly composed of houses and residential units. It rests on the shores of the islands and, in many cases, on man-made islands placed just off the shore.<br /> *Commercial: This part of Saaralin is home to the business and arts. Also, the sprawling campus of the Saralin Institute of Higher Education is in this area.<br /> *Industrial/Spaceport: This area is placed &#039;&#039;inside&#039;&#039; the largest island (approx. 10 Sn wide). On the surface is the Saralin Spaceport, where shuttles transport material up to a station in orbit where larger ships dock. Smaller craft land directly at the Spaceport. Below the surface are the mineral refinement factories.
