The Calamity Refuge Alert System is an [[Refuge Isle|Island]]-wide warning system meant to alert the [[Calamity Refuge]] [[admins|administration]] to a threat. It's activated via a [[Remote Moderation Module]], the moderation center of a specific forum, or the [[Admin Tower]]. When sounded, all of the news banners around the island will proceed to flash the current alert code, and all [[Remote Moderation Module|RMMs]] will start sounding alarms. Furthermore, the RMMs will show where the alert was sounded. As of the most recent software update, the forums can now automatically identify a problem and sound the appropriate alarm.

The alert system comprises of several color codes, sometimes appended by '''Alpha''' (increased severity) or '''Delta''' (high severity). The codes are:
