She is approximately 5&#039;2&quot; and is described to have bright blue eyes, have light skin despite much sun (mainly due to makeup), healthy build, and dark brown hair. Thanks to her hate for simply sitting around and her recent military training, she is fit and decently strong. She has many scars and bruises from a childhood of abuse, though she covers this with makeup. <br /> <br /> ==Abilities==<br /> Having gone through about nine months of basic military training, as well as dabbling in a few other areas, Amethyst is fairly competent. Or, in any case, as much as the next Zanara recruit. She also knows some amateur artifice coupled with a decent knowledge of weaponry thanks to her father.<br /> <br /> ==History==<br /> <br /> ===Pre-First Arc===<br /> Amethyst is the daughter of a man simply known as Mr. Rain, the man in charge of weapon technology and research in Zanara. Her mother died when she was about 12, supposedly from suicide. Having been extremely restricted in what she could do, she devoted most of her time to reading, studying, and exercising and thus scored fairly high in schooling. When she was 17, she applied to and went through nine months of basic military training, partially to get away from her father.<br /> <br /> ===Changing Times===<br /> Upon turning 18, Amethyst packs up and starts to head out when she gets a notice to report to the South-East camp. There, she is put in a squad along with [[Tehara]].
