History

The son of two successful and rich traders, Lorn graduated at the top of his class from the Saralin Institute of Higher Education, majoring in trade. For unknown reasons, he joined the Derilict Navy, becoming a T-86 Pilot, and later, a navigation officer on a cruiser patrolling the system. Eventually, he was given command of his own ship, an ancient Frigate, and was given a mission to eliminate several targets in neighboring systems. He succeeded immensely and was given several medals for the task, which saved Derilict from a series of long and violent wars.

His military career was cut short when he learned of his family's death aboard their private yacht. Further investigation revealed that the death was not accidental, the Manolins had been assassinated by a group of rival merchants. Lorn took it upon himself to find the killers and kill them. The next five years brought on over 597 billion golds in damages in 14 star systems, as he sought vengance, killing all of the plotting families.

This struggle did not bode well back home. The Manolin Trading House was a pitiful shell of what it once was, with nobody there to lead the company through the tough financial times of the day.

Until the present day, Lorn has been rebuilding the company, it still remains a remnant of what it once was, measuring only 32 million golds in wealth.
